Brawl breaks out in Senegal parliament after male lawmaker slaps feminine colleague


A wild brawl was caught on video in Senegal’s parliament this week after a male opposition lawmaker slapped a feminine colleague of the ruling get together, experiences say. 

The confrontation between Massata Samb and Amy Ndiaye Gniby of the Benno Bokk Yakaar coalition erupted throughout a finances presentation.  

Samb was addressing the chamber about current feedback Gniby had made through which she had criticized a non secular chief’s opposition to the concept of President Macky Sall looking for a 3rd time period, in line with Reuters.  

“Mister president, a deputy has stood in entrance of this tribune to insult somebody’s marabout [spiritual leader],” Samb was quoted by Reuters as saying.

However after Gniby reportedly scoffed at Samb and indicated she didn’t care, he walked over and was seen on video swinging at her.
