New York lady, 70, struck by stray bullet in Brooklyn


New York Police are on the lookout for two suspects after a 70-year-old lady was struck by a stray bullet in Brooklyn this week.

Police stated the incident occurred at about 2:10 p.m. on Monday close to the nook of Fulton Avenue and Brooklyn Avenue within the Bedford-Stuyvesant part of Brooklyn.

The bullet struck a girl within the left thigh as she exited the close by Tremendous Foodtown grocery retailer with a procuring cart, throughout the road.

She was transported to Kings County Hospital and was listed in steady situation.

New York Metropolis Councilman Chi Ossé, who represents the neighborhood, turned to Twitter shortly after the incident, saying the girl’s damage will not be life-threatening.

“The folks of this neighborhood are consistently traumatized by this pointless violence,” he stated. “Our prayers are with this senior and her restoration.”
